The idea behind this post came from a 4-year old last week. While talking about the association of Alphabets with words she already knows/speaks about, she confirmed that N stands for Netflix, with me :) It made me think about all the Digital platforms that she's already aware about at her very young age - through family & friends - and how this could be the next-generation narrative in schools, when they teach them Alphabets A-Z.
I just went through our mobiles and have listed out just One App per Alphabet (that we have & use in our mobiles) from A-Z today. Here goes:
A for Amazon
B for BookmyShow
C for Cleartrip
D for Duolingo
E for Evernote
F for Facebook
G for Google
H for Hotstar
I for Instagram
J for Jio (professional bias)
K for Khan Kids
L for LinkedIn
M for (Google) Maps
N for Netflix
O for Ola
P for Paytm
Q for Quora
R for Redbus
S for Swiggy
T for Twitter
U for Uber
V for Voot Kids
W for Whatsapp
X for (e)Xpedia
Y for Youtube
Z for Zomato
I am certain there would be many more Names per Alphabet, but would like to believe that these ones above are already occupying the mind-space of young kids today. Mobile education has arrived.
